Using Armor All Tire Foam - Features & Benefits
The Product
Armor All Tire Foam is formulated from the same basic ingredients found in Armor All Protectant, but Tire Foam has a greater proportion of cleaners for the extra needs of dirty tyres.
The only additional ingredients are aerosol propellants and foaming agents. These foaming agents produce the foam but they also hold the active ingredients in place on the tyre sidewall so the cleaners have a chance to do their work.
Then, as the foam breaks down, the dirt and cleaning agents are carried away and the protection and beautification ingredients can penetrate the rubber.

How Armor All Tire Foam Works
Users simply spray it on the tyre and then leave it alone. In minutes dirt just floats away leaving the tyre clean, shiny and protected. No wiping, no rags, no mess.
How Armor All Tire Foam is Used
Shake well before use. Apply to wet or dry tyres.
Spray foam 15cm from the tyre in a circular and steady sweeping motion. Ensure full, even sidewall coverage.
Allow to dry (5 to 10 minutes).
Note: brake dust and other residue from tyres can spot driveways. To avoid this, rinse driveway immediately after use.
For best results, firstly wash excessively dirty or muddy tyres.

Q Where does the dirt on my tyre go?
A As the foam breaks down and runs off the tyre, it carries the dirt away with it. Dirt on tyres is made up of brake dust, oil, tar and oxidised rubber. This mixture is likely to stain light coloured or unfinished concrete surfaces. For this reason it is recommended that Tire Foam is used when the car is on black top or asphalt. Alternatively, flush the concrete with water after use.
Q Sometimes when I apply Tire Foam the initial shine appears uneven or blotchy.
A Depending on the tyre itself and weather conditions, Tire Foam will take longer, or shorter, to complete its work. As it penetrates the tyre's surface it is levelling and spreading out. In cold or very humid conditions this process can take longer. Soon, your tyre will take on a uniform and shiny look.
Q Can I use Tire Foam on other vinyl, rubber and plastic surfaces?
A Yes. However, remember Tire Foam has increased cleaning capabilities designed to carry off dirt. It works best on vertical surfaces where this dirt can run off. Tyres are the best place to use Tire Foam. Warning: do not use Tire Foam on treads, floors, brakes, cycle tyres, or any other surfaces where slipperyness would be hazardous.
Q Aren't aerosol products bad for the environment?
A This is a misconception remaining from the time that aerosols were pressurised with CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons). Today, aerosols are packaged with non CFC propellants that do not harm the ozone or environment. Just dispose of the used can according to local requirements.
